2011 UBC Sprint and Olympic Training Clinic

The 10 session clinic begins December 11, 2010 and leads up to the race on March 6, 2011.  A Sprint/Olympic triathlon training program is provided.

Group workouts and workshops occur every Saturday morning from 8:30 to 10:30 am (December 11, 18, January 8, 15, 22, 29, Feb 5, 12, 19, and 26). Please note there will be no clinics on Dec 25 and Jan 1.

Workshop topics include: Swimming, Cycling and Running Technique, Bicycle Handling and Safety, Race Preparation, Sports Nutrition, Bicycle Maintenance, Transitions, and much more.

Cost:  $150 plus HST.

Bicycle Maintenance

Do you know how to look after your chain? Fix a puncture? Tweak your gears? You'll get much more mileage out of your bike if you learn to look after it... plus you'll never be caught out in an emergency.

Bicycle Maintenance 101 for Women - Manual Included

This womens only class brings women together in a safe, non-competitive and friendly learning environment. The workshops are run for women because, many times, women are just more comfortable learning with other women.

COST

There is a 6 person limit to the class, first come first serve. Please call ahead to confirm your spot.

    *      $40 (if you already have the Manual)

Bicycle Maintenance 101 for Men - Manual Included

Keep your wheels turning and your bike humming with some sound knowledge of braking and gearing systems. Hands on examples and troubleshooting solutions. Learn how to tune your bicycle and keep it running smoothly. Learn to balance, set brake pads, clean cables and leave your brakes dialled!
